TEX+ will make its Première Vision Paris debut from 1-3 September 2026, showcasing emerging textile design talent from leading UK universities and colleges.

The UK charity will present three finalists from its 2026 programme alongside three successful alumni at Stand 1B8 in the Designs Hall. The showcase will demonstrate the breadth of talent supported by TEX+ and celebrate the designers’ continued development following graduation.

Building on the legacy of Texprint and TexSelect, TEX+ supports the next generation of textile designers through professional development, industry connections and international exposure. Première Vision Paris will provide the participants with opportunities to meet global brands, manufacturers and other textile industry professionals.

A central feature of the stand will be an interactive installation bringing together six designers working across knit, weave, print, stitch, mixed media and other disciplines.

Throughout the exhibition, the designers will collaborate on an evolving concept wall inspired by Première Vision’s seasonal colour directions. The installation will allow visitors to observe the creative process and see how individual textile specialisms can contribute to a shared visual direction.

The participating designers are 2026 finalists Christie Shannon, specialising in knit; Lili Mizuno, working in mixed media; and weave designer Twig Searle.

They will be joined by 2025 alumna Freya Booth, a mixed media designer, and 2024 alumni Nikki Kewley and Ruth Kent, specialising in print and weave respectively.

Visitors will also be able to enter a giveaway for limited-edition tote bags featuring exclusive work created by the six designers. Draws will be held during the first two days of the show, with winners receiving a unique tote bag.
